Although it stands only at 2,392 metres tall, Mount Bromo's beauty lies in its incredible surroundings.

For the Tengger people, Mount Bromo has a special significance as it is believed to be the spot where a brave prince sacrificed himself for his family. Once a year, they hold the Kasada festival to honour the gods by offering vegetables, chickens, and money thrown into the volcano's crater.

Travel to Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park to see the Milkyway and stay there until sunrise. (*Kindly note that the best time to see the milky way is during the NEW moon period. This add-on is highly reliant on weather conditions, meaning that the opportunity to see the Milky Way is not guaranteed. Additionally, it is non-refundable.)

1. Travel to Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park with a private 4x4 jeep (Estimated Travel Time : 1 hour) 2. Enjoy your light meal at a nearby cafe before hiking Mount Bromo 3. Hike for 10-15 minutes to reach the sunrise viewpoint (*Kindly note that there are 4 different sunrise viewpoints. Our guide will bring you to the less crowded sunrise viewpoint*) 4. Travel to Sea of Sand (Estimated Travel Time : 30 minutes) 5. Cross the Sea of Sand. You have the option to walk for 30-45 minutes or enjoy horseback riding (*horseback riding fee is not included*) 6. Climb 250 steps of stairs for 10-15 minutes to reach the rim of the Mt. Bromo Crater 7. Return to Cemoro Lawang between 8-9am
