Overview

Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya at 13,747 square kilometres. Situated in a semi-arid area previously known as the Taru Desert it opened in April 1948, and is located near the town of Voi in the Taita-Taveta County of the former Coast Province

You will be picked up from the hotel in a Landcruiser Safari Jeep at around 6.00 am driving along Mombasa – Nairobi highway for 155 Kms. You will enter the park through Bachuma Gate. Begin a game drive en-route to Aruba Dam. This is the chance to see wild animals such as Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Leopards, Cheetah, and Giraffe among others. Proceed with the game drive en-route to the Voi Safari Lodge where you will check in and have lunch at around 1.00pm. Relax until 3.00pm after which you depart for afternoon game drive till 6.30pm. Back to the camp for dinner and overnight at Voi SafariLodge.
Day 2: Tsavo East - Diani

Tsavo National Park East

This day is an extra ordinary, wake up at 6.00 Am and have a cup of tea/ coffee. Proceed to the morning game drive until 9.30 Am. Back to the lodge for main breakfast. At 10.00 Am you check out and start off a game drive en-route to through exit of the Bachuma Gate. Finally you will start your journey back to Mombasa. Proceed with your safari arriving at your hotel late in the afternoon.
