This 3 hour river safari by boat begins on the Kings Bay Manatee Refuge and takes you on a leisurely cruise out to the Gulf of Mexico and back. Along the way detours will be made one some of the rivers tributaries where we will be in search of various wildlife that inhabit this area. We will pass by the Crystal River Archaeological site where you will see the remnants of the temple mound visited Native Americans from as far away away as Central America. As we wind down river towards the Gulf keeps your eyes open for Manatees, Dolphin, Eagles, Osprey, Alligators, Shore Birds and so many other creatures that make their home on the Nature Coast.
Your guide will point out the interesting flora and fauna that is to be found so keep your camera at the ready.
Bottled water is provided and you are welcome to bring snacks and drinks of your choice. This 3 hour safari is limited to just 6 participants so there is plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and the boat is covered for comfort.
