With the assistance of a local mother who lives in Datça, you will be cooking traditional dishes from all regions of Turkey. Getting to know the local cuisine, local home life and culture will be an experience to remember. Firstly, you will let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or any preferred dish you wish to learn. According to seasonal availibility and the expertise of my mum, we try to accomodate the requests. Then you will be welcomed to our home where my mum stays as a summer traveller. She has already been doing this cooking class in Istanbul, as it was always a hobby for her. After getting to know each other and each others' cultures, you will start with some tea/coffee and snacks. Then, you will start the actual cooking part at the home environment. Best part comes in when everyone sits to eat together. For this part we say, we cook for 2 hours and eat for 10 minutes :). But, when it's that delicious, it's normal to eat fast. No pressure tho, if you wanna eat longer, we will wait :). Then, we will have some tea, share some stories. At the end of the experience we will hope that we build connections that is longer than 3 hours. So, come join us.
