After early breakfast depart for full day game drive in a 4x4 modified safari vehicle with a professional guide, in the Selous Game Reserve exploring the game in the surrounding areas, from your seat on an open-roofed vehicle, a comfortable and privileged journey through the wild African bush. You may expect to see any of the major African great favourite mammals, including elephant, giraffes, lions, buffalo, zebra and even the rare African Wild Dog. Picnic lunch shall be provided in the mid-day where by your guide will select a location with shade and water nearby to watch animals coming to drink - a place with a clear view all round so that no predator can creep up hidden before end of the day return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Early morning walking safari into the Selous Game Reserve, usually start at 06.30am after early morning tea or coffee, accompanied by an armed ranger and it will take around 2-3 hours long. Walking safari is a fantastic way to experience more about the Selous Bushes. Although you may see wildlife during the walk, the focus is also on the habitat that the animals live in, insects, trees and birdlife after working we drive to Mikumi National Park. The Mikumi and Selous Game Reserve, the two areas forming a unique ecosystem you can’t miss to visit. The park comprises a subspecies of giraffe, that biologists consider the link between the Maasai giraffe and the Somali giraffe. On arrival at Mikumi National Park start experiencing your first game drive in Mikumi National Park until later in the afternoon when you will be served picnic lunch. The landscape of Mikumi is often matched to that of the Serengeti. It consists of savannah landscape with acacia, baobab, tamarinds, and some rare palm trees. Mikumi National Park has quite less developed infrastructure but that what makes the park even better and unique because that has helped in preserving the wilderness in its natural and untouched state for many years. Here there is also an option of doing a walking safari which is normally guided by an armed ranger if you wish but with an extra charge.

After breakfast full day game drive in the park with your picnic lunch box, see the beauty of Mikumi national Park, you can expect to see many animals like Elephant, Giraffe, wild dogs, Lions, Antelopes, zebras, hippos pools, flamingos, buffalos, jackals, crocodiles many birds and other species and many more. You will drop back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast we continue with game drives around Mikumi National Park with options to do game drives or go for a walking safari until noon when we drive out of the park and head back to Dar es Salaam, or take a flight back to Zanzibar Island, Where our service ENDS please specify if you would like us to book you a flight to Zanzibar.
