A thrilling excursion into Africa's largest marine wilderness awaits you on the full-day cruise! You will be collected from your hotel at 7:00 AM. to go to Port Elizabeth Harbour Deep Sea Angling Club for your marine experience, which starts at 7:30 a.m., and return at roughly 5:00 p.m. On the cruise, a light meal and spring water are served. A variety of shark species, including great white sharks, bottlenose dolphins, common dolphins, humpback dolphins, Southern right whales, humpback whales, Bryde's whales, Minke whales, Cape fur seals, African black oystercatchers, Cape cormorants, white-breasted cormorants, and various species of pelagic birds, such as terns, petrels, skuas, shearwaters, and albatros Although sightings are not something we can guarantee as this is the wildlife, the experienced Raggy Charters Skippers always go the extra mile to give you the best marine safari experience. Soon after this fascinating experience, you will be transfer back to your hotel by your guide.

You will eat a leisurely breakfast this morning before leaving your accommodation. Also a shuttle will be made from your accommodation to the harbour, where your Algoa Bay half-day at-sea tour will depart from. The half-day whale, dolphin, and penguin island trip departs from Port Elizabeth Deep Sea Angling Club at approximately 8:00 a.m. and returns by noon. It lasts between three and four hours. You'll visit St. Croix Island and Brenton Island, two islands in Algoa Bay. The largest breeding colony of African penguins, numbering about 5,000, can be found on the islands, where you can get up close and personal with these amusing animals. Following your morning activity, you will be driven to your accommodation to pick up your bags before continuing on via our National Road two (N2) to the newly 4 star Kariega Ukhozi Safari Game Lodge where you will enjoy a 3 night safari. A warm welcome upon arrival is followed by an afternoon game drive before you make your way back to a deluxe dinner.

Soon after the amazing Marine Safari experience, we will return to your luxury hotel in Port Elizabeth to collect your luggage en route to the second leg of your holiday at Kariega Game Reserve, where you will stay at their newly renovated Superior Ukhozi Safari Lodge. The drive time from Port Elizabeth to Kariega Game Reserve will be approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, a welcome drink and a round down overall of the property will be presented to you by a Kariega Senior Travel Host. Relax, have lunch and get ready for your first exciting afternoon Safari in an open 4x4 safari vehicle.

Experience open-air game drives (in an open 4x4 safari vehicle) in the early morning and late at night with an experienced game ranger who will bring you up close and personal with a variety of game species, from the powerful elephant, lion, rhino, and buffalo to the little blue duiker and rock hyrax. The cheetah, hyena, hippo, giraffe, zebra, warthog, and many antelope species can all be found in Kariega Game Reserve. We will hunt for the elusive bat-eared fox, aardvark, black-backed jackal, aardwolf, and curious spring hare during exhilarating night drives beneath the great African sky. You will take part in six game drives throughout your three-night stay. There is time for relaxation in between game drives. Inclusive is Game drives, river cruises, canoeing and fishing There are up to 6 times to relax around the sunny pool, do some bird-watching from the observation deck or read a book in the peace of your room’s private veranda.

Departure After lunch and your final morning game drive, you will say goodbye to our African paradise. You are driven back to the front desk, where you will meet your driver for a drive first to Addo Elephant National Park and then to Port Elizabeth Airport.
