A road trip from Durban to Mthatha along the Wild Coast offers breathtaking scenery, rich cultural experiences, and plenty of adventure along the way. We get to see African villages and also meet the locals along the way. This portion covers Kwa Zulu Natal and the Eastern Cape Provinces of South Africa. When we reach Mthatha, go for a guided tour of the Nelson Mandela Museum for a glimpse into the life of the iconic leader. Overnight at the Savoy Hotel and Conference Centre in Mthatha or similar hotel.
Day 2: Depart from Mthatha after breakfast and head to East London

Mvezo

Along the route, stop at Mvezo, birthplace of Nelson Mandela. See the monuments erected of this iconic leader. Tour and explore the area before proceeding with journey to East London. The journey from Mthatha to East London offers a taste of the Eastern Cape's diverse landscapes and cultural heritage, many African villages, animals and locals along the route.
Day 3: East London to Port Elizabeth

From Bloukrans Bridge we head to Robberg Nature Reserve, one of the best in the world. Here we do hiking. Robberg Nature Reserve is one of the most important and iconic experiences in Plettenberg Bay. It is one of the most recognisable and traversed peninsulas in the world. The beauty of Robberg Nature Reserve is iconic. A World Heritage Site and National Monument, steeped in history, with prehistoric rocks and Stone Age artefacts, Robberg attracts visitors from all over the globe. The picturesque peninsula is home to a wealth of fynbos, flora and ocean life, all of which dazzle the senses.
Plettenberg Bay

From Robberg Nature Reserve we head to Plettenberg. We visit some of the white sandy beaches. We relax and swim as we need.
Day 5: Plettenberg Bay to Knysna
