Visit the ancient Moroccan city of Essaouira, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former Portuguese colonial town which bears the traces of its long and varied history. After your Moroccan market experience, tour the famous Skala de la Kasbah ramparts, a relic of European engineering from the city's colonial days. From there, proceed to the bustling port of Essaouira before enjoying free time for lunch, shopping, and further exploration.
