Join our local mushing guides on the Tanana river for a thrilling sleigh ride pulled by a team of energetic Alaskan Huskies. Get to know the sleigh dogs while you experience the splendours of Alaska’s wilderness. During this 1-hour tour you will get the opportunity to pet and harness the huskies, learn about the history of dog mushing and get an inside look at sleigh dog training in Alaska today!

Our 4-mile tour trail winds through the wooded Fairbanks lowlands and spills out onto the confluence of the Chena and Tanana Rivers. Looping around the sprawling snow covered sandbars on the frozen river there will be multiple photo opportunities in the beautiful pastel light of Fairbanks winter. Back up the Chena river towards Trail Breaker Kennel you will get a look at the local architecture and a feel for the power and purpose of Alaskan Huskies at work.
