With this tour, you will be taken several centuries back in time to the years where most Norwegians lived a hard and poor life and lived from agriculture and fishing.

We will walk through the open air part of the museum where 55 old houses are located in the original place of the first medieval market town of Borgund. Several exhibitions and the boathouse can be visited inside, you will learn how our life was changed over the centuries.

After the Museum we drive to Aksla Mountain with a spectacular view over Alesund city centre. Afterwards, we will stroll on the pedestrian street Kongengsgata - town`s high street, where each house has its own amazing storey.
