Hey! I'm Gabby: a Puerto Rican/Colombian salsa dancer & instructor originally from NYC. Welcome to my new class in San Juan! This class comes from a place of love and reconnection with my culture. Salsa is my ode to my ancestors, a reclamation of the culture my family had lost, and my way of finding magic in each day. I hope to share this joy so that you can light up the world with your moves, too!

Activity itinerary

*AVAILABLE AUGUST - JANUARY 2024* I can't wait to take in our beautiful sunset with you while we learn some new moves! NO EXPERIENCE OR PARTNER IS NECESSARY! First, I’ll share a brief history of this beautiful genre, teach you what sounds to listen for while we dance, and social dance etiquette. Then, it’s time to get to work! We’ll begin with solo moves, or “Shines” and get you comfortable moving to the music. Then we’ll begin our partner work portion, where the class will be split between our leads and follows. *If coming with a partner, you can remain with that partner for the duration of the class. Solo dancers will rotate with the other students* Following the class, feel free to ask more questions! I'll even share some recommendations for the best salsa nightlife in the city. Don't worry about perfection. The most important part is to feel the music and have fun!!! See you on the dance floor!
