Join us at the Hovaz Wines Tasting Room in the centre of Dilijan to learn how we produce our sparkling rosé wines using the same traditional method used in Champagne, France, with the option of taking home your own bottle, which you will cork and label yourself. First, you’ll get to know the traditional method of making sparkling wine. Then you’ll see how the leese, or the leftover yeast particles produced naturally during the fermentation process, is removed from bottles that are ready to be corked. After removing the lees, you’ll have the opportunity to cork and label a bottle yourself by hand, which you can later purchase and take home with you! Finally, you’ll sit down with our expert wine guide to taste our sparkling rosé wine, paired with a local cheese and meat board. You’ll learn how to properly taste and truly appreciate this traditional sparkling wine, which we produce using the local Areni Noir red grape variety, and get to know a bit about our wide selection of local fine wines, which you can purchase from our shop.
