What you can expect

Discover some of the most famous colleges at the University of Cambridge with a guided outdoor tour led by a current student or graduate. Gain insights into student life and the rich history of these prestigious institutions.

Start your tour at King’s College on King’s Parade and stroll past landmarks such as Corpus Christi College, Queens' College, Trinity Hall, and Trinity College. Explore the halls where notable figures like King Charles III, Sir Isaac Newton, and Stephen Hawking once studied.

Be inspired by the Cavendish Laboratory, which made groundbreaking contributions to science. Visit The Eagle pub, where James Watson and Francis Crick announced their world-changing discovery.

If you visit King’s College Chapel, you'll end your walking tour at this stunning late Gothic masterpiece, known for its magnificent ceiling and interiors.

Your punting tour will start 30 minutes after the walking tour finishes if you don’t choose the King’s College option, or 90 minutes later if you do. Relax on a chauffeured punting cruise along the River Cam, where your guide will share stories about the eight colleges and nine bridges.

Feel free to bring refreshments and enjoy a complimentary punting lesson during your cruise.

Both the walking and the punting was great Cambridge Phd student Linsey told us a lot on the walking tour, both the hard facts and the fun facts. Charlie did the Punting with us, great efforts on that super windy day.

Abi was a fantastic, funny and relatable guide. Took the time to make sure we all saw everything we wanted and shared lots of interesting stories and tidbits which helped you to truly appreciate what life is like for the students of Cambridge and a bit about the history of the town. Would absolutely recommend if you enjoy tours.

Our walking tour guide, Stephen, Cambridge Alum was great! He was friendly and shed light on the historic fetures of the city and colleges. The punting tour had some fantastic views from the river and our tour guide gave us a special inside view to the university. He shareddetails that can only come from a real student’s perspective. Thank you Finn.

No coordination between booking site and the actual tour guides. We did not see the Kings Chapel (which was our main purpose for the booking). The tour guide told me to take it up with the booking site.
