What you can expect

Visit Cape Coast, the regional capital of Ghana's Central Region, which is renowned for its involvement in the transatlantic slave trade.

We start by going to the Kakum National Park, which is where endangered creatures can be found. The park contains a suspended canopy walkway that is 30 metres above the ground, as well as a variety of butterflies and birds.

Take a cross-country transfer in a shuttle with air conditioning. Drink water, eat snacks, and converse with your knowledgeable, amiable, and helpful guide to stay hydrated while travelling.

After that, head to Cape Castle which is about forty “slave castles,” or substantial commercial forts, constructed on the Gold Coast of West Africa by European traders. Cape Coast Castle is one of them. Established in 1555, it was first a Portuguese feitoria or trading centre.
