Enjoy a full day at the sea with a private boat trip departing from Chania. Head eastwards to the Akrotiri peninsula. Your first stop is the small, secluded, sandy beach of Macherida. The beach is named after the wild gladioli (gladiolus italicus) that grow in the fields behind the beach during the spring. Later continue towards the sandy, protected beach of Stavros, well-known from the 1960's film “Zorba the Greek” that made Greece attractive to visitors. After a swim (and maybe a dance?) the boat will circle the north side of the land to reach the narrow creek of Katholiko, at the mouth of the narrow and impressive gorge.. the deep blue sea invites you to cool off! Next up, is Seitan Limania beach, where you will enjoy the turquoise water from the boat, away from the crowds. Afterwards, the boat reaches Marathi island and its beach, a wonderful place to enjoy lunch (not included onboard). Later in the afternoon, the skipper will take the group back to the old port of Chania and on the way you might see turtles if you´re lucky!
