Overview

When this magnificent Inca city was rediscovered, no one visited, because we had Machu Picchu. The location of the Inca city is close to the gods (sky, sun, moon, star and mountain). This spectacular trek will take you to the last enigmatic refuge of the Incas. Choquequiraw (3103 m) is a huge archaeological complex located near the sacred mountain of Salkantay (6271m) and the canyon of the Apurimac river. You will appreciate the magnificent mountain landscapes, as well as the Andean flora and fauna.
This trail includes a section of some original Inca trails from South America and has a lot of history and legends behind it. The route is 60 km in 4 days.
