A popular tour of Bariloche, this half-day circular route begins in the city and heads out to Lake Nahuel Huapi and Playa Bonita.
From Playa Bonita you’ll be able to see Huemul Island. When you reach the foot of Cerro Campanario there’s a chairlift that takes people to the summit (1,050 metres). If you choose to take this optional ride to the top you’ll marvel at some of the most spectacular views of the region.
The circuit continues on the San Pedro peninsula to the Llao Llao area. Admire St. Edward’s Chapel, an architectural jewel, and head to Puero Scarf on Lake Nahuel Huapi, where sailing excursions on the lake depart. To the south are stunning views of the Llao Llao Hotel, framed by the Chapel Hill and Cerro Lopez.
When you arrive at Panorama Point you’ll admire the lovely views of the Llao Llao peninsula and surrounding lakes. Next you’ll cross the bridge over Lake Moreno that connects the lake with the Llao Llao peninsula and follow the route around Laguna El Treboll, before returing to the city of Bariloche.
