Overview

This extraordinary cruise takes us through the lush jungle of Tanjung Puting in Kalimantan, where adventure and discovery await. On board of our private traditional boat, the klotok, we navigate the Sekonyer River and observe the wild fauna, including long-nosed monkeys, long-tailed macaques, and tropical birds. We visit rehabilitation centers for orangutans, including the famous Leakey Camp, to see these incredible animals in their natural habitat. We explore the dense and colourful jungle and visit local villages to learn more about their way of life. Each evening, we spend a peaceful night on board our boat, admiring the starry sky and listening to the soothing sounds of the surrounding nature.

Exploration of a local village for an immersion in daily life. Optional: night walk or firefly watching in the Nipah Palm mangrove. Day 4: Return to Kumai by boat, then transfer by car to the airport or hotel in Pangkalan Bun for your next destination. End of this unforgettable adventure.
