Parnaíba River Delta – The Parnaíba Delta is the third largest oceanic delta in the world - a rare phenomenon of nature that occurs only in the Nile River, in Africa, and Mekong, in Vietnam. Its configuration resembles an open hand, where the fingers would be represent by the main tributaries rivers of Parnaíba, branching out and forming a grandiose ecological sanctuary.
