Dromedaries have evolved over centuries into adept performers in challenging environments. Aboard your “Ship of the Desert,” allow your guide to lead you through the sweet-smelling eucalyptus forest that marks the edge of the King’s palace, home of the Moroccan monarch, Mohammed VI.

Stop at the mouth of the River Sous, an idyllic spot to gaze across and spot flamingos in their natural habitat. Scale the sand dunes on your return to the ranch, where you can relax and enjoy the Berber custom of mint tea and pastries while recounting the tales of your adventure.
