What you can expect
Discover Kenya's cultural & natural heritage within Africa's only wildlife capital Nairobi. Learn about Kenya's peoples cultural-historical way of life. Enjoy the rich wildlife as you see baby elephants on this wildlife tour, enjoying hustle-free, return transport directly from your hotel. Experience personalised insights provided by our professional local guide/driver as you zip seamlessly between the dispersed locations.
Our accredited guide will meet and take you to the elephant orphanage trust. Enjoy this guided session with experienced guides and keepers from this sanctuary which takes place between 11a.m. to 12noon daily, learning the efforts made by this sanctuary in elephant conservation in Kenya. Nonetheless, get to enjoy the view of these baby elephants, & make great life-long memories as you engage in photography. During the visit you also get to witness them having their bottle of milk as they relax & play engaging in sandbathes, a cool of mud-bath in the heat of the day. You also have the opportunity to adopt & sponsor any of the orphaned baby elephants of your choice during the visit.
You will then after this wildlife experience start the cultural part of the tour. Our first cultural stop will be the beads women factory. This is a pottery company that makes one of the world's most beautiful hand-made beads. Explore and learn all the stages from the start to the finish. Uniquely this factory employs single mother parents and widowed women from the poor areas who earn a living to support their families. It's a women empowerment centre for the community. After this impactful session we will then proceed for lunch.
After a delicious African meal, we will proceed to our second and final phase of our cultural tour. Experience the rich cultural heritage of Kenya. Enjoy the rich culture from 53 ethnic communities in Kenya through traditional folklore dances. Understand the culture and traditions through an informative session as we explore & visit the different homesteads to see for yourself the actual real of our people. The centre mainly preserves, maintains and promotes the rich diverse cultural values of all ethnic communities. Daily performances include a selection of 15 traditional dances of different ethnic communities & one of the most impressive performances is the Samburu & Maasai warriors.
After this great experience of culture and wildlife you will be dropped off at your original point of departure.
