What you can expect

Lukla serves as the starting point for your trek. Prepare to be enchanted by the picturesque Dudh Koshi Valley, adorned with lush pine forests, vibrant rhododendrons, and cascading waterfalls. The trail winds its way past traditional Sherpa villages, their colourful houses adorned with prayer flags fluttering in the breeze. Crossing rickety suspension bridges adorned with vibrant prayer flags adds a touch of adventure to the initial leg.

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m/4592ft)
Day 2 : Fly to Lukla by helicopter and trek to Phakding (2,610 metres /8,561ft)
Day 3 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,284ft)
Day 4 : First Acclimatisation Day at Namche Bazar (3,440m/11,284ft)
Day 5 : Trek to Deboche (3,820m/12,530ft) via Tengboche (3,860m/12,661ft)
Day 6 : Trek to Dingboche (4,410m/14,465ft) via Pangboche
Day 7 : Second Acclimatisation Day at Dingboche (4,410m/14,465ft) - Hike to Nagarjun Hill (5,100m)
Day 8 : Trek to Lobuche (4,910m/16,105ft)
Day 9 : Trek to Gorak Shep (5,140m/16,860ft) and visit Everest Base Camp (5,364 m/17,594ft)
Day 10 : Hike to Kala Patthar (5,550m/18,204ft) and board a helicopter from Gorak Shep to Lukla and onward to Kathmandu (1,400m/4,592ft)
