Watching a panda expertly peel and eat bamboo is a fascinating experience that showcases their unique adaptations and behaviours. For those interested in a more in-depth experience, the base offers special programmes, such as volunteer opportunities or behind-the-scenes tours, where you can learn about the daily care and management of these incredible animals.

The typical blooming period for canola flowers is between February and March. However, right now, at the Tianfu Agricultural Expo Park, **50 acres of early-blooming canola flowers** are already in full bloom, transforming areas like Qingmiao, Xinghe Square, and the Paddy Field Restaurant into vibrant seas of gold, teeming with life. This special variety of canola flowers was independently developed by the rapeseed research team at the Chengdu Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences. This year marks its first large-scale cultivation at the Tianfu Agricultural Expo Island, with technical support provided by Dr. Fu Shaohong, an expert from the National Rapeseed Industry Technology System’s Chengdu Comprehensive Experiment Station and a member of the Sichuan Rapeseed Innovation Team.
