But wine is not the only treasure kept in these lands. White and black truffles spontaneously grow in the woods around the city of Alba and, of course, they have a leading role in local cuisine!
On this tour, enjoy a guided walking tour in the city of Alba, discovering the Cathedral and the historical centre. Then have an introduction to Alba's Truffles' and some time to shop in a traditional deli store.
After lunch in a typical trattoria (tavern), you are transferred to Barolo where you will have a guided visit of the Wine Museum. Then head to a close-by winery and visit with the winegrowers of the cellars and the vineyards. Enjoy a wine tasting accompanied by starters.
