What you can expect

Meet at the Footscray Train Station on Irving Street, where your guide will be waiting to begin this African food tour.

Start the walking tour by visiting a cafe and sampling some traditional food and tea while the guide talks you through their own African history and answers your questions. You will then make various stops at local African stores.

The last stop on the tour will be at a local restaurant, popular for its African cuisine. Sit down for a meal, during which you will hear more stories from your guide and information about the food. You will definitely not leave the tour hungry.
