Visit the site of the battle of Lexington and Concord and hear about the events leading up to the American Revolution and the “shot heard round the world”. You’ll also get to see an American independence icon, The Minute Man statue.
On Battle Road, we’ll track the movements of the colonial militia, passing taverns where the Revolutionary War's first battles broke out.
Within Minute Man National Historical Park, we’ll also see the very site where Paul Revere was captured during his famous midnight ride!
For more American history, we’ll head to Concord to visit Old North Bridge as well as Louisa May Alcott’s Orchard House, where the author penned her classic Little Women, and peaceful Walden Pond and the natural beauty that so inspired Henry David Thoreau.
We’ll pay our respects to renowned authors at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery before a scenic drive back to the city.
