Discover Roman times at Caerleon and the historic picturesque market town of Monmouth, birthplace of King Henry V.
Admire Monmouth's Monnow Bridge, iconic 13th century gatehouse bridge, the only remaining one of its design in Britain.
This sightseeing day tour also includes a stop at the magnificent Cistercian Tintern Abbey, founded in 1131.
On the way back to Cardiff we'll drive by Newport Transporter Bridge, an engineering marvel, a remarkable Grade 1 listed structure and one of only six operational transporter bridges left worldwide.
