Day 1: As the sun rises over Djerba, we set off on an adventure through the winding Roman road, eager to explore the treasures of the Tunisian desert. Our first stop is the salt lake of Chahbania, where the still waters mirror the rising sun. Next, we head to the vibrant local market of Tataouine, where the scents of exotic spices and bustling crowds fill the air. We then continue on to the stunning Ksar Ouled Soltane, a filming location for the legendary Star Wars franchise. After this, we embark on a hike through the beautiful Berber village of Chenini, guided by a local expert who will unveil its many secrets, from the intricately designed mosque to the cosy cottages and homes carved into the mountainside. A delicious midday meal of local Berber couscous at a charming restaurant is the perfect way to refuel for our next adventure, a visit to Ksar Hadada, another Star Wars filming location. Finally, we arrive at Ksar Jouamaa, a cosy Berber cottage where we will enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in the traditional Ghorfas.

Day 2: The second day of our adventure begins with a hearty breakfast at Ksar Jouamaa, as we prepare to explore more of the beautiful Berber villages of the Tunisian desert. We set off for Guermessa, where we will be immersed in the rich history and unique culture of this beautiful village. After this, we continue on to the stunning Ksar Ghilane, where we will have the opportunity to swim in the invigorating hot water springs and explore the vast sand dunes that stretch as far as the eye can see. For the more adventurous, there is the option to take a camel ride or quad tour through the desert. As the sun begins to set, we make our way to our desert camp nestled in the heart of the dunes, where we will be treated to a stunning sunset and a demonstration of traditional sand bread preparation. Dinner is served under the stars, followed by a night spent in a cosy tent, listening to the sounds of the desert.

Day 3: On our final day, we awake to the gentle morning light and a delicious breakfast at our desert camp. Our first stop is Tamazret, a picturesque Berber village where we will have the opportunity to take stunning photos and immerse ourselves in the local culture. Next, we visit a traditional Berber underground house, where we will be greeted by our gracious host with a warm cup of tea, local honey, olive oil, and homemade bread. We then continue on to the iconic Sidi Idriss Hotel, yet another Star Wars filming location that is sure to impress. As we make our way back to Djerba, we make a final stop at the charming Berber village of Toujane, where we can capture memories of our incredible adventure to last a lifetime.
