What you can expect

Travel through the pastoral Normandy countryside to the historic battlefields and landing beaches of WWII, visiting the Utah Beach Museum and Pointe du Hoc for incredible views over the English Channel. Pay your respects to fallen soldiers at the American Cemetery, and enjoy an orchard cider tasting and a delicious Norman lunch.

Depart central Paris, bound for the shores of northern France. As you travel through the scenic hills and coastal farmland of Normandy, your expert English-speaking guide prepares you for each stop on the tour with insightful commentary about the significant events that took place here during World War II.

Visit the Utah Beach Museum, housed in an original German bunker, and see 1 of the only 6 remaining B-26 bomber aircraft in the world. Stop by a traditional Norman orchard to taste cider and Calvados—a famous regional apple brandy. At a restaurant overlooking the port of Grandcamp Maisy, enjoy an authentic Norman-style lunch prepared with the fresh and local ingredients.

Travel to the cliff-top German defence post of Pointe du Hoc to see original German fortifications and bomb craters. Finally, spend a poignant moment reflecting at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial at Colleville-sur-Mer before exploring the informative Omaha Beach Visitor Centre.
