Join a professional hiking guide and venture into the forests of Tavush in Armenia’s north to Lastiver, where waterfalls, caves, tree houses, and local legends await. Starting from our guesthouse, you’ll head towards Lastiver, a well-known area in the forests near the town of Yenokavan. During your hike, our local guide will tell you all there is to know about the area, including the mysteries of its natural caves and waterfalls, and how centuries ago, local monks would venture into the forest and its caves to be alone and maintain vows of silence. Along the way, your guide will prepare delicious local tea and coffee for you to enjoy, before heading back to the starting point in Yenokavan. Please note that food is not included in this experience and you will have to pack your own, along with plenty of water. While the hike is not difficult, we recommend that you be in modest physical shape to enjoy this hike to the fullest. Please also note that there is an additional 1,000 AMD ticket to enter the Lastiver area not included in the price of booking.
