What you can expect

Discover the most romantic, cosy, and calm part of Washington D.C. Brick houses, antique shops, restaurants and cafes; Georgetown does not even look like an American city!

The tour begins at the Old Stone House, the oldest unchanged building in Georgetown and the whole of Washington, D.C. You will cross the Potomac River and Chesapeake and Ohio canal, which will make you feel like you are in Venice. At the same time, the cosy houses surrounding the streets will remind you of Germany, Austria, or even Great Britain.

The tour will then take you to Washington Harbour, a popular entertainment spot among locals, where you can chill for a while before continuing the tour.

You will walk down M Street, the Broadway of Georgetown, and take pictures in front of Georgetown University, the oldest Catholic and Jesuit university in the United States. You will have a chance to visit Tudor Place, home to George Washington’s step-granddaughter Martha Parke Custis Peter, which has seen six generations of Peters.

Also, you will visit places where John F. Kennedy lived and where George Washington purchased the land for Washington D.C. You will learn about the history of Georgetown city and find out how it became a district of Washington D.C.

Join the tour and explore this historical and charming district of the United States' capital!
