The half day tour last approximately 4 hours. It starts in Horta, heading straight up to the natural reserve of the Caldeira of Faial. Then we drive towards the interior part of the Island, continuing to Ribeira das cabras Viepoint, allowing us to appreciate the Volcano “alignment” of the Capelo peninsula.
Next, we drive to the Capelinhos Volcano breathtaking landscape, with it’s desert like appearance covered in volcanic ashes. Going back, we go back to Horta, along the south coast, visiting Varadouro where we can enjoy the view towards Morro of Castelo Branco.
