You will start your trip with a visit to the former royal palace which was constructed between 1904 & 1905. Originally constructed during the French colonial times to serve as a living area for King Sisavang, this amazing museum is the place where you can see the original royal chambers, paintings depicting traditional Lao life, a throne room, and four of the old royal cars, including an Easel.
Here you will take some time to walk around to discover this magnificent building before continuing onwards to Wat Visoun temple which was constructed by Visounnarath 500 years ago in 1513!
Built by Sayasettha back in 1565, Wat Xieng Thong will be your next stop. After that, you will continue onwards to Ban Xang Khong which is well known for the handmade Mulberry paper and also some beautiful hand woven Lao-Traditional textiles which are produced here. Finally, you will head back to Luang Prabang.
