The Rudawy Janowickie hike will take you to one of the most scenic spots in the Lower Silesian mountains. The seasonal colours of Rudawski Park, Bolczów Castle, Mountain Shelter Szwajcarka, Skalny Most, and Duze Sokoloki (Falcon Mountains) make it a popular hike in the Polish Mountains.
We depart from Wrocław early morning by train. The meeting point is at the Main Train Station Wrocław. This tour is conducted by train and can be conducted by private car upon request. Prices for a private car trip will be different.
Essential hiking equipment is necessary for this hike. You can always contact me after booking the tour, and I will gladly assist you. The route is quite moderate and has several viewpoints and huge rock structures, some of which can be easily climbed with the use of stairs.
The hike is approximately 15km long. We start our hike from the train stop in Janowice Wielkie and visit the attractions on the way. The pace will be as per your comfort, and we stop to take pictures and have snacks. Before the hike ends, we can also have some warm meal coffee, beer or mulled wine at Shelter Szwajcarka.
We catch a return train from Trzcińsko station to Wrocław depending on the train timings. The hike is not demanding, but there are some uphill and downhill parts so I recommend you to have hiking boots and comfortable clothes. Extra layers are important during winter.
Take a day pack with water, food, munchies, and tea.
