ur adventure begins at 7:00 AM at the Coyote Aventuras Office in Oaxaca de Juárez. After a brief orientation, we'll board the Coyote van and head to Cuajimoloyas, a remote town in the Sierra Norte mountain range.

Cuajimoloyas is part of the Pueblos Mancomunados, a network of Zapotec communities committed to sustainable forest management and eco-tourism. Upon arrival, we'll enjoy breakfast at Restaurant Bélgica, known for its traditional cuisine and warm drinks.

A community tour will introduce us to Comunalidad, the communal way of life prevalent in Oaxaca, emphasising communal territory, organisation, and celebrations. Then, we'll embark on a 10km hike through the forest, offering stunning views of the Sierra Norte's landscapes and biodiversity.

After our hike, we'll savour a traditional lunch before visiting the Cuajimoloyas hanging bridge for panoramic views of the forest. We'll return to Oaxaca City by 5:00 PM, concluding our day of exploration in the Sierra Norte.
