Listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site, the Scandola nature reserve is both a reserve and
marine and land access to which is strictly regulated.
It is part of the Corsica regional natural park.
Covering 900 hectares of land and 1000 of seabed, the reserve offers a splendid landscape shaped by
erosion. Of volcanic origin, the red rocks of the ancient caldera plunge into the sea and contrast
with the intense blue of the water.
You will walk along the cliffs and discover the caves and the astonishing shapes of the rocks.
The Scandola reserve is also home to exceptional flora and fauna. Open your eyes and you can
try to spot the osprey, the emblematic bird of Scandola or the peregrine falcon.
