This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. During your Goa cooking class with Reshma in her small home kitchen, you can expect to learn to cook two regional dishes from different parts of India that you will be eating later. You may learn to prepare authentic dishes such as Lucknowi chicken or Kerala fish curry and madurai kola balls (meatballs) or bharela vanga (stuffed aubergine curry). Reshma is excited to share her culture through food through this traditional cooking class in Goa. Alternatively, you can also choose a Goan thali - the dishes that will be served include Goan fish curry, fish fry, chicken curry, seasonal vegetable, chapati, rice and dessert. Please let Reshma know your preference while booking the experience. Your meal will be served in a thali or on banana leaves and will feature a masala (spice mix) called ‘tikkat’, which come from Reshma’s ancestral place in Kolhapur.
