Start your getaway in style with a pre-night stay at Kingfisher Bay Resort. Relax on island time and enjoy full access to the resort facilities, in preparation for your two-day 4x4 tour in our air-conditioned 4x4 coach.

Led by your expert local guide, tick off all of the favourite K’gari locations including the crystal-clear depths of Lake McKenzie and the towering rainforest of Pile Valley. PLUS, uncover some of the destination’s equally spectacular hidden gems such as the emerald green oasis of Lake Wabby.

Day One: Your three-day adventure begins with your choice of ferry to Kingfisher Bay Resort, 9:00am, 1:00pm or 3:30pm. Courtesy transfers are available to/from the airport and select locations in Hervey Bay. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in a pre-night stay, making the most of the resort facilities. Check into accommodation (after 2:00 PM).

Day Two:
7.00am: Breakfast at Sand & Wood restaurant.
9.00am: Check out of Standard Resort Hotel Room.
9.30am: Arrive at The Sunset Bar for a prompt departure.
9.45am: Depart Kingfisher Bay Resort and begin K’gari two-day tour.
5.30pm: Arrival and check in at K’gari Beach Resort.

Day three:
7.00am: Breakfast at McKenzie’s on 75 restaurant.
8.00am: Tour resumes from outside reception.
5.00pm: Return ferry transfer back to the mainland.
5.50pm Arrival back at River Heads (with local courtesy drop-offs).

To ensure a smooth pickup and ferry transfer, please contact the K’gari Explorer Reservation Team at least two days before your tour and confirm the location and time.

Qld law states that all passengers must be suitably restrained including infants. Booster seats are required, if guests are unable to supply their own, K'gari Explorer Tours can assist. Please request at the time of booking. Infants under the age of one year are unable to travel on tours.
