You will be greeted this morning by your driver, who will check you in for your Kuranda tours. You will receive a Kuranda Boarding Pass that includes information about your day including a map of Kuranda which includes points of interest.

Your historic Kuranda Scenic Rail journey begins at Freshwater Station, so sit back and enjoy breathtaking views across Cairns and surrounds as you wind your way to Kuranda, including a stop at Barron Falls along the way.

Once you arrive in Kuranda, there is free time for you to explore this quaint village in the rainforest at your leisure. The Heritage Markets operate daily and offer interesting arts and crafts. You might also like to visit Birdworld, Kuranda Koala Gardens or the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary (at your own expense). Your Kuranda Boarding Pass offers discounted entry into selected Kuranda attractions.

At your scheduled time, make your way to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway boarding line. You will then be treated to amazing views as your journey over and through world heritage rainforest, stopping along the way at Red Peak and Barron Falls stations which both provide spectacular views.

Once you arrive at Skyrail's Smithfield Terminal, our coach is waiting to return you to Cairns.
