Paddling with the Midnight Sun is a unique experience that we can only do inside the Arctic circle. This gives us the chance to go kayaking in the evening when the sun goes down but never under the horizon. As Eggum is located on the North-West side of Lofoten with an open ocean (which gives the a breathtaking view) you could not find a better location to witness how the Sun touch the horizon and rise withing 5 minutes.

On the bright summer nights, we paddle between small islands where we enjoy the calm, transperent, turquoise water, the wildlife and the complelty remote nature. It’s a great time to observe seabirds and the wonderful colours of the sky. During the tour we have an opportunity to land on one of the islands
where we offer hot drinks, snack and some stories about the life in Lofoten.

For this trip, it’s not necessary to have any previous experience. 99% of our guests never kayaked before.
