Visit Parque de Santa Lucía, Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan, where we will learn about the mexican education system and the intellectual people who created this university. Next, we go to Teatro Peon Contreras, a historic theatre located in the city of Mérida, Mexico. Built in the late 19th century, the theatre is one of the oldest in the country and is considered a cultural landmark. It is named after the famous Mexican actor and playwright, José Peón Contreras. After that we will relax at Parque Hidalgo. The park is filled with lush green trees, colourful flowers, and a variety of birds. Next we visit Catedral de Mérida, oldest cathedral in the continent and a wonder of eclectic architecture. We will proceed with visiting Plaza Grande, Museo Casa Montejo and Museo Palacio de la Musica.
