What you can expect

Trek through the pristine rainforests of Lombok on a 3-day hike to the top of Mt. Rinjani. Look for local wildlife, such as black or brown monkeys along the way. Camp at the crater rim of Sembulan volcano, and get stunning views of Lombok island, Bali, Mt. Tambora and more.

Day 1: Senaru - Crater Rim
Benefit from early morning pick-up, and then make your way to Senaru village to register. Hike through the beautiful rainforest to an altitude of 1,300 metres, and continue to Montong Satas for a rest and some snacks. Hike to Mondokan for lunch, and then trek to the volcanic crater rim of Senaru to set up camp for the night.

Day 2: Senaru Crater Rim - Segara Anak Lake
Rise early and enjoy a hot breakfast before your hike down to Segara Anak Lake. Unwind in the hot springs on arrival and enjoy lunch by the lake. Hike back up to the crater rim in the afternoon to watch the sunset and camp overnight.

Day 3: Mt. Rinjani Summit
Enjoy a light breakfast very early in the morning and start your hike to the summit of Mt. Rinjani before day break. Reach the summit at an altitude of 3,672 metres above sea level and get stunning views at the break of day. Trek back to the crater rim for a hot breakfast and rest. Continue towards the village of Sembulan and enjoy lunch along the way.
