Your day trip to ancient Greece starts with a morning pick-up in Athens. We'll pass through the famous Corinth Canal (short stop), which connects the Saronic to the Corinthian Gulf and literally divides mainland Greece from the Peloponnese.
Next, venture into Argolis, land of Mycenae. Explore this UNESCO site, home to King Agamemnon, on a guided walk. Unravel myths as you pass the Lion's Gate, royal tombs, and the Treasury of Atreus.
Afterwards, we head to Nafplion, Greece's first capital. This charming town boasts Venetian fortresses and a harbour island. Here, you have free time for lunch (not included) and explore the beautiful streets lined with 16th-17th century buildings.
Our final stop is Epidaurus, home to a breathtaking ancient theatre. This 4th-century marvel, a UNESCO wonder, is still used today for its incredible acoustics! After soaking it in, we'll head back to Athens, returning you to your hotel / meeting point in the late afternoon.
