Discover the “soul” of Mykonos on a full-day tour that covers traditional areas not often visited on conventional tours.
Begin at the small port of Agios Ioannis, home to the historic church and cell where the saint once lived. Then, pass by the airport and take in a panoramic view of the island, and you may even catch a plane taking off or landing.
Head to the traditional village of Ano Mera, passing through an entirely different scenery, one of the island’s most typical agricultural and stock raising areas inhabited by the locals. At the village's square, you will have the opportunity to visit the monastery of Panagia Tourliani and enjoy a small stand well-stocked with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables
Stop at a traditional family farm, where a homemade lunch awaits. Learn more about the art of Greek cooking and experience the warm hospitality of a traditional family. Right after your traditional lunch is over, head to the most distant beautiful beaches of Mykonos, named “Kalo Livadi”, “Kalafati” and “Agia Anna” for some photos (swimming is not included), before you are dropped off back at your hotel for 2 hours of relaxation.
Get picked up again from your hotel and head to Mykonos town for a walking tour to highlights such as Manto Square, the famous Matogianni shopping area, and the traditional Gioras bakery. See the row of famous windmills and marvel at the houses of Little Venice before visiting the whitewashed Church of Panagia Paraportiani.
Head back to your starting point, and pass the famous church of Agios Nikolaos before we drive back to your original meeting point.
