Start from the ancient Spaccanapoli street located in the heart of the historic city of Naples to reach Piazza del Municipio, where the castle Maschio Angioino is located and then head to Piazza Plebiscito with the royal palace and the San Carlo theatre. A guide will lead the tour and show you the panoramic points as well as the artistic and cultural sites along the way until Seiano cave via Coroglio. The tour will continue crossing the magnificent coastline into the splendid gulf setting characterised by Vesuvius, the Sorrento peninsula and the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida.
Once you leave the e-bikes at the entrance of Pausilypon park, your visit of the archaeological and environmental area of the first century B.C. will begin by crossing the cave of Seiano. Along the 770 metre of the route, your guide will explain the history, the excavation techniques and the various events that have seen the history of the cave over the centuries. At the other end of the cave, you will be able to admire the remains of the charming villa of Publio Vedio Pollione on the promontory overlooking the beautiful Trentaremi Bay.
The tour will continue through the 'pars publica' of the ancient villa, where the remains of the theatre and of the odeion area. The tour will proceed through a narrow path, surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation and will end at a viewpoint which overlooks the islands of Gaiola, from where you will be able to admire the Bay of Naples. After that, you will resume your e-bikes and return to via Capitelli 31 passing through an old disused industrial area and crossing the western area of the city of Naples.
