What you can expect

This early morning tour begins with a 5:00-5:10 AM pickup at our designated pick-up point in Waikiki. From there, we’ll head directly to Diamond Head for a self-guided hike. You’ll be immersed in the fresh morning air and the beauty of the sunrise as you make your way up. Upon reaching the summit, you’ll be greeted with a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of Waikiki and the sparkling ocean. Don’t forget to capture some unforgettable photos before heading back!

In the early morning, there is no heat like during the day, allowing you to enjoy the hike in refreshing conditions. Additionally, you'll be back at your hotel by around 8:00 AM, giving you plenty of time for the rest of your day. It’s a perfect and fulfilling start to a valuable day of your trip!

Advertised as a sunrise hike. But sunrise is at 6am and the park doesn’t open until 6am. So kinda disappointing but highly recommend the early trek the trails are narrow so the less crowded the easier it is to move around.

The transportation was early but it ensured that we arrived to the entrance of Diamond Head to get in as soon as the park opened at 6 so that we could get to the top in time for sunrise. The hike was more beautiful but not handicap accessible. Our only disappointment is that the transportation/tour guide spoke only in the language of the majority of passengers and so we had to ask many questions to have information shared in English, too. We had elderly participants with mobility challenges with us and needed essential information to assist them with their trip.
