What you can expect

Patras is the third largest city of Greece with a long history due to the strategic position in the middle of Mediterranean sea.

On this private half day sightseeing tour you have the chance to discover the best highlights as well as a walking tour at the busy pedestrian zone of Patras city centre.

The tour starts with a hotel pick up and short briefing according the schedule that will be attended. First stop will be the archaelogical museum of Patras that houses collections deriving from the history of Patras and the surrounding area from prehistory to the end of Roman times. On the way to your next visit you will have a photostop at Rio- Antirio Bridge , the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world.

Next stop will be the wineyard of Achaia Clauss (wellknown “Mavrodaphne” sweet wine) where you will experience a short tour around the wineyard and a wine tasting.

You 'll then have time to admire the impressive church of St. Andreas church , the biggest greek orthodox in Balkans.

From this point you will follow the pedestrian zone of Patras city centre in order to visit the busy shopping centre of Riga Fereu Street , the square of King George and the stairs of Agiou Nikolaou strt.

At the end you will have the option to stay for lunch in the city centre or you will be dropped off at your hotel.
