Know before you book

  • Get picked up from your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao, Klong Muang and Tubkaek Beach. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed by email after you have made the booking.
  • If you stay at Railay Beach or Tonsai Beach, we will confirm the exact meeting point after you have made the booking.
  • If you stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas, please take the hotel shuttle boat to Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang.
  • This tour is not recommended for infants under 3 years old, pregnant women or people with back or neck problems.
  • Thailand's Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation will close Maya Bay every year for 2 months in August and September.
  • While the monsoon season (roughly May to October) brings increased jellyfish sightings due to water movement, these graceful creatures can appear year-round in the Andaman Sea. To ensure a safe and enjoyable swim, consider asking your tour guide.
  • Ensuring your safety is our top priority. To that end, we strongly recommend wearing a life jacket throughout the entire boat ride to the islands and while snorkelling.

What you can expect

Enjoy a full-day of relaxation on this speed boat trip to Phi Phi Islands, lapped by turquoise waters and shaded by towering limestone rocks. Scene of the blockbuster film “The Beach”, Phi Phi is a paradise destination just 48 km from the mainland in Krabi.

You will be collected from your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao, Klong Muang or Tubkaek Beach in the morning, the exact pickup time will be indicated at time of confirmation. Check in with the Sea Eagle Tour crew at Nopparat Thara Pier and cruise over to Koh Phi Phi Leh on a comfortable speed boat with a limited number of 45 seats. On the way we will pick up other guests staying at Railay Beach.

The first stop will be at Loh Samah Bay where you can climb from a floating pier over the rocks to an elevated wooden trail which leads to the beach at Maya Bay. Here you can touch the white sand and dangle your feet into the turquoise water. You will have approximately 50 minutes to enjoy on one of the most stunning locations in Thailand, and if you lucky you can witness black tip reef sharks swimming in the shallows.

Take spectacular photos of the 600 m long Phileh Lagoon framed by 100 m tall limestone cliffs and snorkel on the east side of Phi Phi Leh on coral reefs with crystal-clear waters. There is also an optional ride by longtail boat available to explore small coves at a small extra fee if you like.

Then slowly past Viking Cave to see where the Phi Phi birds nest soup are harvested. Next stop is Monkey Beach, which is located on the southwestern side of Tonsai Bay. It is a simply stunning 150 m long strip of white powdery sand fringed by emerald water backed by lush vegetation that offers monkeys a comfortable habitat. During low tide you can see a colony of monkeys from the boat having their breakfast down on the beach.

At midday you will stop on Phi Phi Don, the larger of the 2 sister islands. A rich Thai buffet lunch is served in Phi Phi Arida restaurant. Then it's time to explore the island path of Tonne Sai which offers average tourist facilities along the beautiful curved bays of Tonne Sai and Loh Dalum Bay.

The last stop will be on the tiny and flat island named Koh Mai Pai, which is also known as Bamboo Island. It is covered by lush vegetation and entirely surrounded by a strip of white sand and a reef that spreads up to 500 m from the shore.

Head back to the mainland with a short stopover to drop-off customers at Railay Beach, before returning to your hotel.
