his tour lets you discover and photograph the architectural, sculptural, political and social remains of a period known as the Socialist era from when Slovenia was a part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
The period, just like many others, has set a lasting impression on the city with it’s relatively monotonous, prescribed architecture of social realism that offers an interesting photographic motif in contrast to other architectural creations such as the medieval buildings and Baroque 19th century architecture.
A unique opportunity to experiment with black and white photography due to the monotone subject matter. An experience you will never forget.
