Overview

Beginning this two-day odyssey, we will embark from Tirana to explore the majestic beauty of North Macedonia. Our first stop will be to visit both Ohrid and Ohrid Lake, sites of incomparable grandeur and global renown, having achieved UNESCO recognition due to their historical and cultural significance and pristine natural splendour. We shall then proceed to Skopje, the nation's capital and largest city, to marvel at its impressive architecture and bustling atmosphere. On the second day of our tour, we will travel to Pristina, the dynamic economic centre of Kosovo, and Prizren, the ancient historical capital of the world's youngest republic, renowned for its unique cultural heritage and captivating scenery.

Situated in the heart of Pristina, the grand Library brims with over two million copies of materials, some dating as far back as the 15th century. Its architecture is a prime example of Yugoslavian Brutalism and is a masterful synthesis of Byzantine, Ottoman, and Serbian design, making it a veritable microcosm of the city. Since 1982, the Library has served as the National Library of Kosovo and continues to offer a majestic glimpse into its past.

Memorial House of Mother Teresa

Founded from the presence of Ilirain and Greek tribes, throughout its history it has been subject to the influence of various empires - from the Roman, Byzantine, Bulgarian, Turkish, Serbian, Yugoslavian and finally, as part of the Independent Republic of North Macedonia. Perched atop the hills of the city, Ohrid has been standing since the rule of Bulgarian Tsar Samuil in the 10th Century.
